"Twilight" actress Ashley Greene is in talks to star in "The Apparition." Joel Silver produces via his Dark Castle alongside Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman.

The story is inspired by actual events and tells of a young couple who are haunted by a supernatural presence which is unleashed during a college experiment. Start date for production is February 1st with Steve Richards, Sue Baden Powell and Daniel Alter executive producing.

Todd Lincoln is helming and writing the screenplay. This was originally developed by Lincoln, Silver Pictures/Dark Castle executive Heineman and Alter.
