Paramount Pictures has just released eight new photos from the J.J. Abrams helmed "Star Trek" starring Chris Pine (James T. Kirk), Eric Bana (Nero), Zachary Quinto (Spock), Leonard Nimoy (Older Spock), Simon Pegg (Scotty), Karl Urban ("Bones" McCoy), Zoe Saldana (Chief Communications Officer Uhura), Anton Yelchin (Pavel Chekov), John Cho (Sulu), Winona Ryder, Bruce Greenwood (Christopher Pike), Chris Hemsworth (George Kirk), Clifton Collins Jr. (Ayel).

"Transformers," "Mission: Impossible III" and "Fringe" writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci pen the new, younger version of the beloved sci fi offering which sees theatres on May 8th next year.
