Gerard Butler is set to star in "Coriolanus" which marks the directorial debut of Ralph Fiennes who also stars in the film.

Also cast are William Hurt, Eddie Marsan, Jessica Chastain and Vanessa Redgrave. John Logan ("The Last Samurai") writes.

This will be a contemporary adaptation of William Shakespeare's Rome-set political family drama. Butler plays Tullus Aufidius, commander of the Volscian army.
