Warner Bros. Pictures has pre-emptively picked up an untitled comedy spec from Josh Cagan and Greg Coolidge. Morgan Freeman is attached to star and Peter Segal to helm.
Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary's Revelations Entertainment are tyo produce with Segal and his producing partner, Callahan Filmworks' Michael Ewing. Freeman is executive producing.
Under a working title of "Dirty Old Men," the comedy tells of an aging playboy who finally meets the love of his life. His best pal and wingman does all he can to breakup the new couple. Apparently, the tone is something like "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Wedding Crashers."
Freeman can be seen next as Nelson Mandella in Warner Bros. Pictures' "Invictus" drama with Matt Damon.
