Paul Dano ("There Will Be Blood") has joined Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Maggie Grace and Marc Blucas in the James Mangold-directed action comedy "Wichita."

The story tells of a woman (Cameron Diaz) who has awful luck with men whose destiny is about to be intertwined with a mysteriously handsome man (Tom Cruise) whom she first meets on a blind date who turns out to be an FBI agent. Before she knows it, she's in for a worldwide journey to protect a powerful battery which holds the key to infinite power.

Shooting starts in October and is produced by Cathy Konrad, Joe Roth, Steve Pink and Todd Garner.
