Fox is eying a sequel to "Hitman" and has hired screenwriter Kyle Ward. The first film grossed more than $100 million.
Based on the video game by Eidos, the follow-up will apparently contain elements from the game "Hitman 5."
Apparently, the story has Agent 47 (played by Timothy Olyphant in the first film), who has hit a low point in his life and must now strengthen himself again mentally and physically to take back his number one hitman status.
"Hitman" was budgeted at $30 million and also included Bond girl Olga Kurylenko. Ward got the job after writing "Kane and Lynch" for Lionsgate which Bruce Willis is attached to star in.
