Warner Bros. has set Jonathan Liebesman to direct "Odysseus" which is based on Ann Peacock’s ("The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" spec script.
The story tells of the Greek hero king of Ithaca who, after fighting 20 years of Trojan Wars, returns home to find his kingdom being occupied by by an invading enemy.
Gianni Nunnari (“300”) will produce through his Hollywood Gang company. Liebesman directed "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning" starring Jordana Brewster and has been set to direct Neal H. Mortiz's "Battle: Los Angeles."
Hollywood Gang produced the upcoming Martin Scorsese-helmed “Shutter Island" as well as “Everybody’s Fine” and is in pre-production mode on “War of Gods” as well as “11 Minutes” starring Mickey Rourke.
