Sex Drive is another from the Summit Entertainment lineup offered at Comic-Con 2008. A film which, quite honestly, looks absolutely riotous with raving Amish added into the mix! Read on...

Based on the book All The Way by Andy Behrens, the story follows lLoveable underdog IAN (Josh Zuckerman) is the last American virgin. At least that's how it feels to him now that he's 18, about to go to college, and losing girls to his 14-year-old brother. Ian's always been the nice guy, the best friend... never the boyfriend. But his luck finally seems to be changing when he meets DANIELLE. She's everything he's ever wanted in a girlfriend — fun, sexy, and she really likes him. There's just one problem. She lives in Knoxville. And he lives in Chicago. And she thinks he's the Brad Pitt lookalike he's pretending to be on Facebook. At the urging of his best friend, LANCE (Clark Duke), Ian decides to confront his fear of rejection when Danielle makes him the offer of a lifetime: "If you drive all the way for me, I'll go all the way for you."

In the spirit of such classics as AMERICAN PIE, THE SURE THING and SUPERBAD, this wild romp follows Ian, Lance and their third musketeer, the spunky and gorgeous tomboy, FELICIA (Amanda Crew), as they set out in Ian's older brother's beloved '69 GTO. Despite many hilarious setbacks on the road, including a stop-off at an Amish rave (who knew the Amish could party?), Ian finally meets his dream girl...; but things don't turn out quite as planned. Along the way, Ian discovers that while he's prepared to go the distance for sex, there might
be something even better a little closer to home.

We speak to star Clark Duke and, once you've read this interview, go ahead and read our chat with Josh Zuckerman.

Question:

You've been to Comic-Con before?

Clark Duke:

"I came last year, yeah. If I didn't have this movie, I'd still come down here, you know?"

Question:

So what attracted you to the film?

Clark Duke:

"I just think that's a fun, kind of 80's throwback comedy. It doesn't feel like it's trying to ape anything. You know? That's what it seemed like to me, it's not trying to be too cool."

He answers a few irrelevant questions pertaining to his comment about this being like an eightees film and the fact that he was born in 1985 and if he watched any films from the 80s. What the hell does that have to do with watching a film from a time when you weren't born? So folks shouldn't watch any classics from the 50s as most of the cast have bitten the bullet anyhow...

"It sort of reminds me of kind of the John Cusack movies. You guys should watch it tonight."

Question:

I have to ask about this Amish rave. What's that all about?

Clark Duke:

"Yeah, our car breaks down, without given too much stuff away...Seth Green's this Amish guy...yeah, he's fantastic. And he sort of rescues us and I end up meeting an Amish girl that I kind of fall for and Fall Out Boy is there and he plays at the Amish concert, where I was kind of astounded, but the Amish are very roudy and drunk."

Question:

Can you talk about the auditioning process for this. When did you find out you got the role?

Clark Duke:

"Well, the guys who wrote the movie saw "Clark and Michael" which was a show I did online with Mike Cera, and they liked that so they brought me in and I originally thought I was reading for Josh's part and they were like 'No, we want you to be the friend.'"

Question:

Can you talk a little about working with Josh on this?

Clark Duke:

"It was fun man, it's hard not to spend three months on location with somebody and not get pretty close to them. You know someone pretty well when you spend eighteen hours a day for three months."

Question:

In the GTO right?

Clark Duke:

"Yeah! Oh I hated the cars though!"

Question:

Did you really?

Clark Duke:

"It was just aweful, those cars didn't have air-conditioners and we were in Florida...and it was so wierd, the time of year we were there would either be like so hot you wanted to cry and them some days it would be freezing, when it was like early in the morning."

Question:

How long did this film for?

Clark Duke:

"43 days. It wasn't that luxurious a schedule. You know, we were doing kind of TV hours some days. You know, shooting five or six pages and stuff."
